Production method

At Hyperrion, delivering premium coir products begins with absolute control over our entire production process. By enforcing rigorous quality standards and investing dedicated time and expert craftsmanship into every single stage, we guarantee a benchmark of consistent excellence in every product we deliver.

01. Sourcing

Our quality begins at the roots. We source our coconut husks through a hybrid network of our own private farms and a trusted community of local farmers. This close-knit partnership allows us to secure the finest raw materials while directly supporting local agricultural communities and ensuring absolute traceability from farm to factory.

02. Preparation

Our production begins with a vital step – soaking our coconut husks in water to perfectly soften the fibers. We strictly select mature husks, intentionally bypassing young or immature ones that don’t meet our standards. This meticulous grading ensures that—with the exception of our specialized crush material—every Hyperrion product begins with the highest caliber of raw material.

03. Extraction

We extract all of our media directly from the coconut husk, avoiding third-party blending. This direct extraction method preserves the natural properties of the coir, ensuring a pure, dependable, and highly consistent finished product in every batch.

04. Sieving

Our production culminates in a double-sieving process designed to strip away long fibers and excess dust particles. This vital step ensures strict adherence to Hyperrion’s precise physical property and uniformity benchmarks, resulting in a consistent, high-performance substrate that promotes superior root development.

By utilizing a naturally neutral growing medium and avoiding chemical additives entirely, we preserve the purity of our coir. Every product we offer is refined through a meticulous 3-stage manufacturing process, engineered to guarantee market-leading quality and uniform consistency.

1. Washing

Substrates requiring low electrical conductivity are comprehensively washed to strip away natural salts, guaranteeing that each batch meets exact customer specifications and strict EC standards

2. Drying

We naturally sun-dry our media to achieve the exact moisture content necessary for flawless compression and optimal plant growth.

3. Grading

Every batch is strictly graded and categorized by its precise electrical conductivity (EC) and moisture levels to guarantee exact specification matching and uniform performance.
